Avondale Village is a 160-space public surface parking lot at 133 41st Street South in Avondale. It was jointly financed by the Birmingham Parking Authority and the Forest Park-South Avondale Merchants Association and will be operated by the Parking Authority, with customer payments made at an automated kiosk.

The landscaped lot was designed by Williams-Blackstock Architects and is expected to be constructed for about $600,000 in time to open in the Summer of 2015. The name of the project is projected to be displayed on a metal gateway sign inspired by the Avondale Park sign.
