The Avonwood Rest Home was an assisted-living facility located at 4246 5th Avenue South in the 1960s. It was owned by Mrs Gladys Harper and Mrs W. P. Martin and offered 24-hour skilled nursing services along with physical therapy and planned diets.

The facility is currently used by Aletheia House as an addiction recovery center for female clients.
