BioHorizons Inc.' designs and manufactures dental implants, prosthetics, tissue grafts and instruments. The business was founded in November 1995 and incorporated in May 2006, a few months before it was acquired by HealthpointCapital. Steve Boggan is president and CEO. The company is headquartered at 2300 Riverchase Center.

BioHorizons plans a public offering of stock in 2011, and plans to use the newly-raised capital to expand its sales force in the United States and around the world.
