The Birmingham Sport & Boat Show is an annual trade show and exhibition held each January at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex. It was founded in 1972 by Bob Coffen, Sr and was the first event held in the newly-constructed BJCC. In 1992 it was also the first event held in the expanded BJCC East Exhibit Hall. The show is currently produced by Coffen's son, who lives in Rockport, Texas. He is known locally as "Boat Show Bob".

The show features around 600 boats displayed by boat manufacturers and dealers along with booths sponsored by fishing, skiing and recreational equipment makers, lenders, and other exhibitors.
