Birmingham Fire Station No. 23 is located at 4121 40th Place North. It serves the Inglenook area.
History
The original Station 23 at 4100 40th Terrace North was constructed in 1927. It was equipped in 1960 with a single 750-gallon pumper truck. That building was retired in 1978 and was renovated for use as the Inglenook Library.
