Birmingham Fire Station No. 27 is located at 400 Huffman Road and serves the Roebuck and Huffman areas.
In 1960 the station, then located across the street at 401 Huffman Road, was equipped with a 1938 Seagrave pumper truck with a 750-gallon capacity. A second 750-gallon pump truck was kept there on a reserve basis.
