Birmingham Fire Station No. 5 is the Birmingham Fire Department's station for the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. Located at 5401 East Lake Boulevard, it houses ARFF Trucks, Combination Units, and a tender. The station is staffed by a combination of Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service personnel, state personnel, and Air National Guard personnel from the 117th Air Refueling Wing.
