The Birmingham Iron is a planned professional football team set to compete in the Alliance of American Football (AAF) beginning in Fall 2019.

The team's colors are black, sliver and steel gray.

Other AAF teams in the region include the Memphis Express, Atlanta Legends and the Orlando Apollos.
