Birmingham Metro Baptist Association is the local association of Southern Baptist churches that was formed on January 1, 2021 from the merger of the Birmingham Baptist Association and the Bessemer Baptist Association. The association traces its history to the Canaan Association of United Baptists formed at the Canaan Baptist Church in Bessemer in 1833. In the 1940s, churches in Bessemer and surrounding areas formed a separate association from the larger Birmingham-based association. The two associations voted to merge on Monday, October 26, 2021.

Chris Crain is the executive director. The association's offices are off Montclair Road at 1449 Medical Park Drive in Birmingham.
