The Birmingham Police Department North Precinct is a patrol division of the Birmingham Police Department which is headquartered at 2600 31st Avenue North in North Birmingham. The precinct is commanded by Captain Edmond Hanks.
The North Precinct patrols approximately 20.5 square miles of Birmingham, protecting nearly 42,000 residents and including downtown Birmingham and the BJCC as well as events held at Legion Field.
