Bobby Joe Seales is the former president of the Shelby County Historical Society and director of the Shelby County Museum and Archives in Columbiana.

Seales retired from both positions on November 1, 2015. At the time he was presented with a key to the city of Alabaster by Mayor Marty Handlon.
