The Cambridge Shop is a men's clothing store at 624 Montgomery Highway in Vestavia Hills City Center.
The Cambridge Shop was founded in 1965 by Stanley Routman when he was 35 years old. In 2011, Routman sold the story to long-time employee Terry Tant.
Tant had previously been a manager of six Burch & Tant Formal Wear stores, co-founded by his father, J. O. Tant, Jr, and then co-founder of Tant & Tant Formal Wear with his father. Tant had sold the family business after his father retired in the early 1990s and joined the Cambridge Shop around 1994.
The Cambridge Shop closed on August 31, 2013.
