The Cedar Tree Apartments is a three-story apartment complex located at the intersection of 12th Street South and 18th Avenues South in the Five Points South neighborhood.

On January 1, 2006 Byron Wilson was found shot in an SUV outside the apartments, marking Birmingham's first homicide of 2006.

On August 12, 2008 a fire broke out in the laundry room and was extinguished by firefighters. Later the same morning the apartments above the laundry room caught fire. That fire spread to damage at least six units before it was brought under control. No injuries were reported.
