Charles Colcock Jones Carpenter (born September 2, 1899, died June 28, 1969) was rector of the Church of the Advent from 1936 to 1968 and bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama from 1938 to 1968. He was one of the eight White ministered who edited the open letter A Call for Unity to which Martin Luther King Jr. responded in a Letter from Birmingham Jail.

Carpenter House the headquarters of the diocese on 20th Street North is named in his honor.
