City Paper is a wholesaler of retail packaging products and supplies. The family-owned company was founded in Birmingham in 1897. Paul Friedman, Jr is the President and CEO.

Its offices are currently located at 3700 1st Avenue North, alongside its PaperWorks Outlet retail store and its City Ad Specialties division. The company leases 44,160 square-feet of warehouse space at the Birmingham Food Terminal and Distribution Center off Finley Boulevard. City Paper also maintains showrooms at the Dallas World Trade Center, the Atlanta Gift Mart and the Chicago Merchandise Mart.
