The Clair de Lune Garden Club was a garden club active in the Crestwood community in the mid-1950s.
In 1955 the club erected monumental brick piers on either side of 56th Street South marking the entrance to Crestwood from Woodlawn. Winifred Butler, outgoing president, thanked committee members Mrs Mark Bell and Opal Nabors for their efforts in completing the project.
