Curt Long (born 1963 in Los Angeles, California) is the executive director of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. He was hired in April 2008 to replace Trey Devey, who retired in March. He will start on July 1. Devey most recently held the same position with the Dayton (Ohio) Philharmonic Orchestra, During 13 years he participated in the growth of the ensemble and helped oversee its move to a newly-constructed concert hall.
Before working in Dayton, Long was executive director of the Delaware Symphony Association (1992 - 94) and held a fellowship in orchestra management with the American Symphony Orchestra League in Washington D. C. (1991 - 92)
Long is married and has three children.
