Donald Alexander Hawkins (born September 30, 1917; died March 5, 1978) was a four-term Birmingham City Councilor, serving 2 terms as council president.

Hawkins was one of four sons born to Robert and Katie Hawkins. He became an industrial salesman and was elected in 1963. He was elected council president in 1971 and served on the council until his death.

Hawkins was the 1957 Mr Crestwood, which is awarded to the citizen who has done the most for the Crestwood community each year.

Roebuck-Hawkins Park is named in his memory.
