Don A. Hawkins (died 1978) was a 4-term Birmingham City Councilor, serving 2 terms as council president. Hawkins, an industrial salesman, was elected in 1963 and was elected president by the council in 1971. He served on the council until his death.

Hawkins was the 1957 Mr Crestwood, which is awarded to the citizen who has done the most for the Crestwood community each year.

Roebuck-Hawkins Park is named in his memory.
