FoodLand, Inc. is a grocery store chain owned by Mitchell Grocery Corporation that currently has 4 locations in the Birmingham District, along with 16 other stores throughout the southeast. Starting in 1982, Mitchell Grocery expanded into the retail arena with its first Foodland store located in Albertville.
