Forest Creek is a 9-lot residential subdivision under development by RW Development on a 7.5-acre extending from the end of Vestavia Forest Drive, between Jacobs Road and Southview Drive in Vestavia Hills.

Instead of curbs and gutters, the developers plan landscaped bioswales to capture stormwater runoff and conduct it through an existing streambed managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and flowing into Patton Creek.

Three of the houses were constructed speculatively, with one serving as the 2023 "Inspiration Home of the Year" for Birmingham Home and Garden magazine.
