Frederick Alexander

Frederick Mumphrey Alexander (born 1966) is a Fairfield police officer and was a candidate for the Alabama House of Representatives District 52 seat held by 7-term incumbent John Rogers in the 2010 Democratic primary.

Alexander has an associates degree in criminal justice from Jefferson State Junior College and served in the U.S. Army Reserve. Before joining Fairfield's force, Alexander spent seventeen years with the Birmingham Police Department, stationed to the West Precinct. For 14 years he worked an off-duty security detail at the Powderly Library. He also coached the West End Panthers of the Magic City Youth Football League.
