Freedom Court Reporting is an independent provider of court reporting, deposition recording and litigation services to attorneys. It was founded in May 2005 by Mike and Mickey Turner.
The firm is headquartered at 2031 Shady Crest Drive in Hoover. It has a downtown office at 2015 3rd Avenue North and another at 1933 Richard Arrington Jr Boulevard South near Valley Avenue. It also keeps offices in Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, Montgomery, and Dothan, as well as Atlanta, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee.
In October 2013 Freedom Court Reporting acquired rival Tyler, Eaton, Morgan, Nichols & Pritchett.
