I Believe in Birmingham

I Believe in Birmingham (IBIB) is an activist group operating through Facebook. It was founded in June 2010 amidst efforts to oppose the demolition of Birmingham Fire Station No. 10 to make way for a Walgreen's Drugs store. Since then the group, headed by Joseph Baker III, has involved itself in several public improvement campaigns and is also active in discussing issues pertaining to urban development.

Currently IBIB has more than 7,600 members on Facebook.

• Supporting Norwood residents in calls to redevelop Carraway Hospital

• Opposition to demolition of Birmingham Southern Railroad freight depot, 2014
