The Icon Restaurant and Bar was a white-tablecloth restaurant located inside the remodeled Tutwiler Hotel. It was opened in 2007 by chef Geoffrey Slate and manager Alan Dobbs, both formerly of Restaurant G.

The restaurant was originally scheduled to open for New Year's of that year, but complications arising from existing conditions in the historic building caused delays. During construction, Slate and Dobbs provided catering and room service for the hotel from the restaurant's two kitchens. The completed restaurant began serving guests on March 30, 2007. Among the menu items were seared duck breast for $23, butter poached lobster for $25, and a Kobe beef hamburger that sold for $18.

In 2008, Slate departed the restaurant. That September, Dobbs reached an agreement with Integral Hospitality, the company that owns the Tutwiler to terminate his lease. Integral then managed the restaurant itself until September 2009, when Culinard took over, bringing chef Zac Waters to the restaurant. A month later the name of the restaurant was changed to Century Restaurant and Bar.
