Iron City Church

Iron City Church is an evangelical Protestant congregation founded in 2014 by Valleydale Baptist Church under the leadership of Jason Cook. The congregation draws mainly college-aged students and young adults. Since its inception it has always held its worship service late on Sunday afternoons. It met from 2014 to 2018 at B&A Warehouse. It then moved to Ramsay High School before moving to Southside Baptist Church in 2019. Its current pastors are Demetrius Hicks, Dustin Ratcliff, and Kam Pugh. Unlike most evangelical churches in Birmingham the church celebrates the Lord's supper weekly and actively strives to be interracial.

Although it was founded by a Southern Baptist congregation, Iron City is independent, not affiliated with any Baptist convention or association.
