Jared Weinstein (born 1980) is special assistant to President George W. Bush, hired in summer 2006.

Weinstein is a 1998 graduate of Mountain Brook High School and enrolled at Duke University to study public policy. He spent the summer of 2000 in Austin, Texas, interning with the Bush campaign. In 2001 he and one of his classmates at Duke secured a $15,500 grant to help fund Durham, NC's inner-city youth baseball league.

After graduating Duke in 2002 he took a job in the scheduling office at the White House. In the fall of 2003 he became Chief of Staff Andrew Card's personal assistant, staying on when Card left to assist his replacement, Joshua Bolten. When the Presidential special assistant job came open, he did not apply, but was recommended by Card for the $95,000 a year job shadowing the President.
