Lawson and William Hatch Wemys in Nashville, Tennessee. The footwear chain now operates as part of the retail division of the publicly-traded Genesco Inc.
The Century Plaza store was located on the corner at center court across from Morrow's Nut House and catty-corner to Radio Shack.
