Jarman Shoes

Jarman Shoes was a national retail shoe store chain with several locations in the Birmingham area. It was owned by Genesco Inc. of Nashville, Tennessee.

The Century Plaza Jarman Shoes location opened with the mall in 1975. The chain was merged into Genesco's U.S. Retail division in 1982. The Century Plaza location was later converted to the Underground Station brand. Roy Palmer was the store's long-time manager.
