Jay Miller (born April 18, 1956 in Mobile) is a sergeant in the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and one of eight candidates to qualify in the 2010 primary for the Jefferson County Commission District 3 currently held by Bobby Humphryes.
Miller has an associate's degree from Jefferson State Junior College. He served in the Midfield Police Department for 25 years, retiring as a detective sergeant before joining the internal affairs division of the Jefferson County Sheriff's office in 2003.
Miller and his wife Krysti live in Corner and have five children.
