John Jones (born November 27, 1932 - died November 27, 2009) was an agent in the Shelby County Extension Office and an employee of the Alabama 4-H Center before he retired. From 1958 until his death he organized the Shelby County Fair.

A lifelong Auburn Tigers fan, Jones died shortly after watching the 2009 Iron Bowl on television.
