LW Associates is a public relations, community organizing and political consulting firm owned by attorney Lou Willie III and his son, communications consultant Lou Willie IV. Its offices are located in the Plaza Building at 2112 11th Avenue South.

As a legal consultant, the senior Willie takes credit for writing numerous ordinances adopted by the Birmingham City Council, including the city's "texting while driving" prohibition and the "for-hire-transportation code" which was revised in 2012. As an attorney, Willie has also represented several Birmingham taxicab companies. Lou Willie IV was a committee assistant to City Council member Kim Rafferty and later a field organizer for Obama for American and the Alabama Democratic Party.

The firm offers numerous services, including voter registration and "Get Out The Vote (GOTV)" efforts including paid and volunteer canvassers and poll workers and robocalling.

In July 2014 LW Associates LLC won a $30,000 contract from the city "to provide planning and strategic consultation regarding projects related to transportation and veteran services" in District 2.
