Larry O. Gay is an amateur freelance photographer in Bessermer with an extensive portfolio of photographs of Birmingham assembled during days off from his full-time job as a steelmaker.

Gay graduated from Bessemer Tech with a double major in Commercial Art and Photography and has, since 2002, maintained several websites to display his photography online.

Gay's photographs will be on exhibit in the 4th Floor gallery at the Birmingham Public Library from March 27 - May 5, 2006.
