Larry "Tater" Potter (born 1969) is a resident of Birmingham's streets. In the Fall of 2012 he and others occupied a temporary encampment in the girders of the Elton B. Stephens Expressway above Carraway Boulevard downtown.

Potter, who is childless, has been homeless since 1993. He prefers a life unencumbered by housing expenses and responsibilities. He eschews hard drugs, but enjoys vodka, hence his nickname.
