This article is about the Baptist minister. For the banker and chair of the Birmingham Business Alliance, see Lee Smith (banker).

Lee Smith (born October 15, 1929; died December 2011) was pastor of Damascus Baptist Church in Inglenook for 43 years.

Smith was the son of William and Lilia Smith and grew up in East Thomas, graduating from Parker High School. He attended Tuskegee Institute and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, earning a Purple Heart.

Smith retired in June 2011 and died later the same year. He is buried at Elmwood Cemetery. He was survived by his wife, Richetta.
