Linda Andrews was the former director of the Hoover Public Library. She retired December 31, 2016.

Andrews was recruited by Hoover mayor Frank Skinner from the Eastwood Mall branch library to oversee the creation of Hoover's new library in 1983. As director she launched the Library Theatre and the Southern Voices conference.

In 2009 she received the Eminent Librarian Award from the Alabama Library Association.
