- November 24: Fred Ransom was shot to death at the home of Leroy Reeves on 5th Avenue Monte Sano in an apparent jealous rage. Letters between Ransom and Mrs Reeves were submitted as evidence along with witness testimony. The coroner's jury determined that the shooting was justified and Reeves was released.
