This is a List of Jefferson County homicides in 1990.

March 9: Toni Maria Lim, 23, found bound in her apartment at Raleigh Villas with her throat slit and evidence of rape. Lim was a married student who performed at Sammy's Go-Go. Steven Alan Petric was charged with capital murder in 2004 after being jailed for armed robbery in Illinois. A national database matched his DNA to a sample taken from Lim's apartment. His trial is currently scheduled for early 2009. [1]
