Hurtado attended Greenforest Christian Academy in Decatur, Georgia and the Sagemont School in Weston, Florida. He is enrolled in the [[Collat School of Business]] at UAB.

Luis Armando Hurtado León (born January 3, 1998 in Mérida, Venezuela) is a point guard for the UAB Blazers men's basketball team.

Hurtado attended Greenforest Christian Academy in Decatur, Georgia and the Sagemont School in Weston, Florida. He is enrolled in the Collat School of Business at UAB.

In 2019 Hurtado was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He underwent surgery and chemotherapy at UAB Medical Center and was able to return to the court in November of that year.
