Margaret Wrinkle is an artist and author whose first novel, Wash, was published in 2013.

Wrinkle earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in English at Yale University and her master's in elementary education at UAB.

Wrinkle lives in rural New Mexico and is a part-time instructor at the San Francisco Art Insitute.


She has studied fiction with Chinua Achebe, Pinckney Benedict, and AJ Verdelle, and traditional spiritual practices with Malidoma and Sobonfu Somé, and Mayumi Oda.
