Mayor of Alabaster is the elected leader of the Shelby County city of Alabaster.

The first mayor was George Scott, Jr, son of the founder of the Alabaster Lime Company and himself president of the First Bank of Alabaster.

David Frings has been the mayor since 2000, and was re-elected on August 26, 2008 with 56% of the vote.

Marty Handlon defeated Frings in the 2012 election, becoming the city's first full-time mayor.
