The Mayor of Edgewood was the elected head of Edgewood's town government.
Edgewood was an incorporated town in Jefferson County's Shades Valley. On September 20, 1926, a special election was held to expand the town to include the unincorporated Grove Park and Rosedale Park areas and rename itself Homewood, which passed. The state legislature approved the act on February 11, 1927, officially making the Mayor of Homewood the Edgewood office's successor.
