McAdory Middle School is part of Jefferson County Schools serving grades 6-8 for McCalla and nearby sections of western Jefferson County. It is located at 5450 Yellow Jacket Boulevard. The principal is James McLeod.

A new school building was completed in 2010, using funds from the Public School College Authority. TurnerBatson Architects prepared the design for the new building, and Gary C. Wyatt General Contractor built the project.

McAdory athletic teams are called the Yellow Jackets, and the schools colors are maroon and gold.
