ProctorU is a company which provides live supervision (proctoring) of online test-takers worldwide, a service that the company describes as "accredited online knowledge verification." It was founded in Birmingham in 2008 by Jarrod Morgan and currently employs more than 700 people in four offices in the United States, and at a support center in the Philippines.

The Birmingham office is located at 2200 Riverchase Center in Hoover. It moved there from the nearby 2100 Riverchase Center in 2014. The company's headquarters offices moved to Livermore, California before 2014, but later returned to Birmingham. The current CEO is Scott McFarland.

In 2019 ProctorU contracted with Google to provide online delivery for the company's "G Suite" certification program.
