New Rising Star Baptist Church is a Baptist church located at 3104 33rd Place North in Collegeville.
The church was founded in 1958 by Reverend George Pruitt Sr, who was also one of the founding members of the Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights. The church building, a one-story brick was added to the National Register of Historic Places as one of the city's "Movement churches" in 2005.
