Nidek Medical is a manufacturer of "Nuvo" brand medical oxygen concentrators, which it exports to customers in 100 countries. The company was founded in 1986 by CEO Anand Chitlangia. Its headquarters is located at 3949 Valley East Industrial Drive off Pinson Valley Parkway in Birmingham. Another office is located in Calcutta, India, and the firm has warehouse facilities in Bremen, Germany and Bogata, Columbia.
