Octane is a gourmet coffee shop chain which was founded in 2003 in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2011 it merged with Birmingham's Primavera coffee roaster under the Fresh Hospitality umbrella. The city's first Octane coffee shop opened in 2012 on Central Avenue in Homewood.
