Odessa Rush Ashley (born c. 1934) is a retired Birmingham City Schools teacher and two-term member of the Birmingham Board of Education representing District 7. She is running for a third term in the 2009 election.

Ashley has a bachelor's degree in elementary education and math and a master's in elementary education and education administration from Alabama State University. Since retiring from teaching she has been active in alumni, retiree and neighborhood organizations. She was first elected to the Board of Education in 2001.
