The Old Overton Club is a private golf club located on the site of the former Overton Mines, alongside the Cahaba River at 7251 Old Overton Club Drive in Vestavia Hills' Liberty Park subdivision. The 18-hole course and clubhouse opened in 1993.
The Old Overton Club's 6,936-yard par-71 golf course was designed by Jerry Pate and Tom Fazio and was recognized as the "Best New Private Course" by Golf Digest in 1994. Pate also oversaw a 2020 renovation of the course. The club pro is Jim Brotherton Jr, the PGA's Professional of the Year in 2003. In 2020 the club contracted with Honours Golf, the Birmingham-based division of Scottsdale, Arizona-based Troon.
