The Old Overton Club is a private golf club located alongside the Cahaba River at 7251 Old Overton Club Drive in Vestavia Hills' Liberty Park subdivision. The 18-hole course and clubhouse opened in 1993.
The Old Overton Club's 6,936-yard par-71 golf course was designed by Jerry Pate and Tom Fazio. Pate also oversaw a 2020 renovation of the course. The club pro is Jim Brotherton Jr, the PGA's Professional of the Year in 2003. Old Overton has hosted the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate Tournament.
The club also boasts a 25,000-square-foot clubhouse, a 9-court tennis center and outdoor pool.
In 2020 the club contracted with Honours Golf, the Birmingham-based division of Scottsdale, Arizona-based Troon.
